Eurkart ("we," "our," or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our grocery shopping assistant application.

• Grocery Store Partners: To enable cart integration and provide location-based services within stores
• Service Providers: Third parties that help us operate our Service
• Third-Party AI Providers: When you use our AI features, we send the input you provide to the AI providers named in Section 5.1 solely to generate the result you requested. We ask for your consent in the app before any such data is shared.
• Legal Requirements: When required by law or to protect our rights

We do not sell your personal information to third parties.

4.1 SMS and Mobile Information

No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. All of the other categories described in this section exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; that information will not be shared with any third parties.

We use your mobile phone number solely to send the one-time password (OTP) verification code you request when signing in to your Eurkart account, and to secure that account. We do not send marketing or promotional text messages, and we do not use text messaging for affiliate marketing, referral programs, or third-party lead generation. Your mobile number and your SMS opt-in data are disclosed only to the telecommunications provider that delivers the message on our behalf, and only for the purpose of delivering that message.

5. Third-Party Integrations

Our Service integrates with grocery store APIs to provide enhanced functionality. When you authorize these connections:

• We access only the data necessary to provide our services
• You can revoke access at any time through our app or the store's settings
• Data handling is also subject to the respective store's privacy policy

5.1 AI Features and Third-Party AI Providers

Some Eurkart features use artificial intelligence — the shopping assistant, photo and product-label analysis (“What's Inside”), recipe-to-list generation, receipt/list scanning, and price insights. To generate results for these features, we transmit the input you provide to third-party AI providers:

• What we share: the text you type, photos you attach or scan, and the shopping-list items you ask about. Our on-device assistant model runs locally on your device and does not transmit your messages.
• Who we share it with: Anthropic (Claude models, accessed via Amazon Web Services Bedrock) and Google (Gemini models). Data is transmitted through Eurkart's own servers.
• Why: solely to produce the AI result you requested. We do not use this data for advertising and we do not sell it.
• Your consent: we present an in-app disclosure and obtain your consent before any data is sent to these AI providers. These providers process the data under their own terms and provide comparable protections.

5.2 Affiliate Links

Some product recommendations in the app may be affiliate links, from which Eurkart may earn a commission. Tapping one opens the retailer's own site or app, and from that point the retailer's privacy policy governs — it may set its own cookies or identifiers to attribute the referral. We do not pass your name, email address, mobile phone number, or shopping lists to affiliate partners, and affiliate partners are never sent your SMS opt-in data.

We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your personal information, including:

• Encryption of data in transit and at rest
• Secure authentication mechanisms
• Regular security assessments
• Access controls and monitoring

• Delete your account and associated data
• Opt-out of marketing communications
• Disconnect linked grocery store accounts

We retain your personal information only for as long as necessary to provide our services and fulfill the purposes described in this policy. When you delete your account, we will delete or anonymize your data within 30 days, unless retention is required by law.

Our Service is not intended for children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
